None of the buttons along the top edge would respond. The ribbon behind the control strip had corroded where steam gets in. He replaced the strip and resealed the edge so it should be a while before it recurs.

Self clean finished on Sunday and by Monday the door was still locked. The latch motor had jammed on its cam. He freed it, fitted a new motor and ran a short cycle to prove the door released.
